Twice a month, children from Dunoon come through our doors for coached squash clinics — a genuine partnership MSC is proud to keep growing.
A club that opens its courts, not just its doors
Milnerton Squash Club has been part of the local community for over 50 years. The Dunoon Outreach Programme is where that history turns into something active: twice a month, children from Dunoon arrive for a coached clinic, run by qualified coaches on the same courts our league players compete on every week.
It isn't a one-off gesture. It's a standing commitment of coaching time, court access, and equipment — the kind of thing that only works because the club keeps showing up for it, session after session.
Small groups, real coaching
Qualified coaching
Sessions are led by Squash SA-certified Level 1 coaches, supported by MSC's club management and volunteer coaches — so every group gets proper individual attention, not just supervision.
Small court groups
Players are split into small groups per court, keeping the coaching quality high and giving each child real time with a racket in hand rather than standing in a queue.
More than squash
Coaches use the sessions to talk about effort, discipline, and balancing sport with school — squash as a way in, not the only thing on offer.

Growing with intention
The programme started small and is growing the same way it started — deliberately. The plan is to double capacity by 2027, giving more children from Dunoon the same access to coached, competitive squash that MSC's own members have had for 50 years.
