Club Socials
Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or you’re a seasoned player, our Club Socials are the perfect way to enjoy great squash, meet fellow members, and become part of the Milnerton Squash Club community. Ladies’ Socials take place every Monday evening, while our popular Thursday Socials are open to all club and social members. Saturday Socials welcome both members and non-members, making them the ideal introduction to the club.
Monday Ladies Club Socials
How do I join?
Only applicable to club members. Members are invited via a Whatsapp group.
When: Mondays @ 19h30 - 20h00
Dependent on the League Schedule and attendance confirmation
Cost: R10
Format & Facilities
Format is decided on the night based on number. The club bar is open, there is generally a fire going after the socials. Ladies arrange on the Whatsapp group what to bring.
Thursday Club Socials
How do I join?
Open to all club and social members.
When: Every Thursday @ 18h30 - Late
Cost: R10 per player
How it works
- Add your name to the play sheet in the appropriate section.
- Players are called onto court in the order they appear on the list.
- Matches are played using PAR scoring to 21 points.
- After each game, return your name to the list if you would like to continue playing.
Social Rules
- Please don’t occupy a court with the same partner while others are waiting to play.
- Our socials are run by members, for members—everyone is encouraged to help keep play fair and enjoyable.
- The club bar is open throughout the evening, and there’s usually a braai afterwards. Bring your own meat and join us for a relaxed evening off the court.
Saturday Club Socials
How do I join?
Open to both members and non-members. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the club, meet our members, and enjoy a game of squash.
When: Every Saturday @ 12h30 - 16h30
Costs
- Members: R10
- Non-Members: R50
