How To Make Payments
Members can now pay their membership fees and court lights using the Go Book application.
A Brief Overview of our Club Management Systems
The objective of the Court Manager system is to provide the user with a control and management tool for the courts. The system is designed to be flexible yet provide the user with complete control over the access of each member and more importantly exclude all non-members and members who have not paid their annual memberships.
The basic system restricts the use of the courts to members who are up to date with their annual membership payments, have credit in their lights account and have access to that court at that time. The member simply enters the membership number or scans their transponder.
It is recommended that members maintain sufficient light credit to be able to activate the lights for at least one session, in case there is a delay in loading of new light credit.
GoBook is a portal where the club can offer their members the ability to book courts online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any Web browser or via the GoBook app. Any activity on Go Book is linked with the Court Manager system, which is located at the club.
Every member has an account for subscription (membership fees) and lights. Membership fees are due in February of each year. The member will be invoiced through GoBook and would need to be settled 1st of March. A 10% discount on the annual membership fee is allowed if paid before the end of January. Please note any new members joining after January, will be invoiced pro-rata. The lights account requires a member to pre-load money into it. If no funds are available, the court booking would not be successful and it will not be possible to switch on the lights to play.
The Club accepts payments in the following ways:
- PayFast payments via Go Book which provides for credit card, debit card, EFT and SnapScan (Payfast is a trusted payment gateway based in South Africa)
- Yoco (Credit Card)*
* A R10 fee will be levied on payments not made through GoBook to cover admin costs
How to make payments via Go Book
GoBook is a web based application which is linked to the club’s Court Manager as detailed above.
There is also a mobile application and payments can be made via this as well.
We encourage members to use this platform for payments for their membership fees and re-loading their light accounts.
When making a payment via Go Book, your account will reflect the payment within 5 minutes. This offers the convenience of loading lights funds 24/7.
The Go Book Process to load funds is detailed below. All screens below are taken from the Go Book web application.
Note: New members will be loaded on to Court Manager as soon as their membership begins. Once loaded on to Court Manager, the member will receive a pin code to be used to enrol in the Milnerton Squash Club Go Book system. During the registration process on Go Book, the pin code and membership number will be required. Please ensure that you complete all your details in the “My Profile” section. This will enable the Club to email you directly with regards to any notifications or updates.
Login to Go Book
Click on Financials
Click on New Payment
Select “Pay To” either Subscription or Lights Account
Select “Pay Using” payment method you would prefer
Once you have selected the “Pay To” and “Pay Using” method, please indicate the amount you would like to pay.
Check the details and tick the confirmation box. Take note of the fees. These fees are charged to the Club by the payment gateway and Go Book. The standard process is to pass the fees on to the member. If you would like R100 to reflect in your lights account, you would need to pay R106,21.
You will be directed to the PayFast payment gateway to complete the payment for the full amount. Your payment will reflect in 5 minutes or less.
How to make payment via EFT or SnapScan
If paying any amount of funds by EFT into the club bank account or Snapscan, please ensure to use your first name and surname as a reference. If space allows for it, the reason for the payment.

NB: All payments MUST be accompanied by a printed or emailed PROOF OF PAYMENT
You need to send a proof of payment to firstname.lastname@example.org which clearly reflects the reason for payment. Please be aware funds are only loaded to your lights account or subscription account when club management has received the payment notification.
Note: Club Management loads funds Monday to Friday between 5pm and 8pm, and Saturdays between 12:30pm and 4pm only once payment is received.
How to make payments via the Club Bar
Members may also make payment for various purposes at the Club Bar. You may pay using cash, Yoco (Credit Card) or SnapScan.
When making payment at the bar, please inform the bar staff what the reason for the payment is and provide your name. Payments made at the bar may only be processed the following day, depending on how busy the bar staff are.
